摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain excellent discharge performance by determining liquid droplet discharge conditions based on the size of a generated bubble. CONSTITUTION:If the image projection area of a bubble 31 to a thermal energy working part 29 is Sbmum<2> when the bubble 31 becomes largest in size and an energy to be added is E erg in a liquid jet recording head, it must be constituted so that 0.15<=E/Sb<=0.5 is satisfied. The bubble 31 becomes a form close to a cube or a flat form, depending on a method to add a pulse-like energy. In either case, the Sb is defined as the broadcast cross-section when the bubble 31 is cut on the surface parallel to the thermal energy working part 29. Thus conditions for obtaining a stable liquid droplet discharge are determined depending on the size of the generated bubble. Consequently, satisfactory dis charge performance which is not influenced by the physical property of ink, material of a jet recording head, etc., is assured.
