<p>PURPOSE:To stack sheets orderly without requiring pagination by inverting a sheet fed from a sheet discharge pair roller through a U-turn carry-out path then leading into a lower sheet discharge tray provided with a tip position regulating member and stacking the sheet therein. CONSTITUTION:A sheet discharged from a device body 1 through a sheet discharge pair roller 32 is inverted through a U-turn carry path and a carrying means 144 arranged between fixed guides 140, 141 then it is discharged into a sheet discharge tray 9 assembled at the lower section of the body 1 and stacked therein. In the sheet discharge tray 9, a core type stopper 182 is provided in a notch section 183 such that its position is adjustable corresponding to the sheet size so that the discharged sheet is fed through a sheet feed mechanism 190 and the tip thereof contacts with the stopper 182. By such arrangement, sheet can be stacked ordery without requiring pagination and installation space can be reduced.</p> |
