发明名称 IMAGE RECEIVING BODY FOR THERMAL TRANSFER
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain an image receiving body for sublimating-migration type thermal transfer allowing a satisfactory image to be printed on a wide variety bodies to be printed, such as a rough surface paper, and being free from a trouble in running, by a method wherein a release paper having a larger area than an image receiving sheet and having two edges parallel to a thermal head which are longer than those of the image receiving sheet is provided so as to cover all over the image receiving sheet. CONSTITUTION:An image receiving body consists of an image receiving sheet (a) made of a dyeing resin layer 1, a substrate 2, and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 3 and a release paper (b) made of a release paper substrate 5 with a release layer 4. The release paper (b) is longer in area than the image receiving sheet (a). Because in the release paper (b) two surfaces parallel to a thermal head, i.e. a leading edge surface and a trailing edge surface in the running in a printer, are made longer than those of the image receiving sheet (a), the release paper (b) can come into contact with a printer feed part to prevent the adhesive layer 3 from coming into direct contact with the printer feed part, thus preventing the adhesion of the pressure-sensitive adhesive. The constant contact of the release layer 4 with a guide 4 ensures a stable running with little catch or friction.
