PURPOSE:To make it unnecessary to use a thermal medium heating furnace, a methanol cracker, and the like, by composing the system to make it possible to feed steam from a steam drum to a fuel electrode while mixing with methanol vapor. CONSTITUTION:A constant temperature of steam is generated from a steam drum 4, and the steam is led in to a methanol vapor line 16 through a line 15. On the other hand, methanol flows through a line 11, being made into methanol vapor by passing through a heat exchanger 3, and after mixed with the steam from the line 15 in the line 16, it is led to the fuel electrode 1a of a cell main body 1. Since a methanol cracking catalyst is filled in the fuel electrode 1a, a methanol cracking process is carried out in the fuel electrode, and the methanol is consumed as the fuel of the cell. |
