PURPOSE:To improve the polishing efficiency by applying a flexible sheet onto the inside of a container and filling the inside with the barrel grindstones and polished members and inserting a stirring rod into the container by pushing up the sheet and applying a stirring movement and then applying a uniform stirring action. CONSTITUTION:The inside of a barrel container 1 is applied with the flexible sheet 2 such as synthetic rubber cloth, fiber-reinforced synthetic rubber cloth, and metal wire-reinforced synthetic rubber cloth, and a stirring rod 5 supported by a bearing 6 is arranged on the bottom part so as to push up the flexible sheet 2. The inside of the barrel container 1 is filled with the mixture of the grindstones 3 and the polished members 4, and further the grinding liquid such as water and electrolyte liquid is supplied, and a swivel movement is applied onto the stirring rod 5 by the reciprocation movement along the shaft 10 of a rotary motor 8 by a linear motor 9 and the revolution of a disc 7 by the rotary motor 8, and the polished member 4 is put into the working such as the removal of burrs. Therefore, the barrel polishing can be carried out efficiently at a high speed. |
