An open-end spinning machine (1), with movable automatic device for wound bobbin exchange, i.e., for replacing wound bobbins by empty tubes, has at least one conveyer belt (4, 5) for the delivery of wound bobbins from the machine (1). The conveyer belt (4, 5) is equipped with a reversible drive (18, 19) unit so that during normal operation wound bobbins can be fed to unit (7) to be automatically processed and, alternatively, if it is necessary to remove all the bobbins irrespective of their state of wind, the bobbins can be carried to the opposite end of the machine (3) to be processed manually.
