PURPOSE:To improve the quality of quartz crucible and to reduce the production cost by making the thickness of silicone rubber specified and gelling the sol type raw material of quartz crucible by using a die. CONSTITUTION:In the production of quartz crucible by the production technique of sol-gel method gelling a sol type raw material by using a mold, the diameter tolerance (1f) at the length (l1) of positioning part between the plastic member of center core material and an outer frame is made to be 0.2-0.4mm. In this production, by taking the diameter tolerance between the center core part and the inner diameter of frame as 0.2-0.4mm, there exist no large plays between the elastic member and the gelled wet gel, which works to prevent the wet gel from receiving the outer force. And, by taking the length l1 for positioning the center core material to the outer frame as 2-6% of inner diameter, the center unit is allowed to be drawn up without shaking. |
