PURPOSE:To check the correct/incorrect operation of false normal diagnosis by generating a value similar to data obtained by a diagnosis/fault processor as a result at the time of diagnosing respective devices in an information processing system from the false normal circuit in a diagnosis system for an information processing system. CONSTITUTION:In case of executing the false normal diagnosis of an I/O device 11 in the information processing system 10, a false normal test instruction (false status generating instruction) 36 to the false normal circuit 21 is sent from the diagnosis/fault processor 22 to the circuit 21. Consequently, the circuit 21 sends the instructed false status 38 information to the processor 22 as a false status signal 37. Thus, the normality of a diagnosis function for the false normality diagnosis of the processor 22 can be confirmed. |
