The invention relates to a method for radar camouflaging of high-gain antennas, especially airborne radar antennas of aircraft, by means of a frequency-selective window, a bandpass characteristic being produced by means of slot elements. Method measures and device measures are specified which enable a narrowband radome of special shape, in the case of which the radar reflecting cross-section of the antenna in its main radiating direction is considerably reduced, so that not only is a considerably improved camouflaging capability of the airborne antennas created but improved protection against external incident radiation, lightning strike and NEMP are also provided at the same time, as well as improved heat dissipation in the case of high-speed aircraft. <IMAGE>
