In order to mount plug connectors on printed circuit boards, mounting elements having solder pins being provided in the flanges of the plug connectors, it is proposed to provide the solder pins with a first tubular region on which spring tongues are integrally formed. The spring tongues are provided with a bend so that latching shoulders are formed which, during insertion of the pins, latch into a printed circuit board hole behind the underneath of said printed circuit board.
