PURPOSE:To obtain a bioreactor carrier applicable to immobilized multiplication microorganism method, comprising a material prepared by coating open-cell urethane foam of ester type with a silicone resin and further with a tacky secretion derived from a microorganism. CONSTITUTION:Urethane foam of ester type having properly combined cell sizes depending upon kinds and multiplication characteristics of microorganism to be used is coated with dimethylsilicon, one of heat-resistant resins, to add heat resistance. Further the urethane foam is coated with a liquid component comprising a supernatant liquid of a culture solution obtained by cultivating a viscous liquid secreting bacterium at 25 deg.C for 48hr, nidation force of organisms to the foam is strengthened to give the aimed bioreactor carrier. The carrier is sterilized by high-pressure steam and a microorganisms to be used is immobilized. |
