PURPOSE:To prevent the return of garbage in a sump side in a centerless type garbage collector by providing a lower link member composed of a telescopic cylinder interlocking with a vertically movable cylinder device for operating a vertically movable panel in such a way that the end of a rotary panel draws a circular arc rotation locus. CONSTITUTION:Lowering of a vertically movable panel 6 by a vertically movable cylinder device 14 makes the center of the pivot 7 of the panel 6 and the end of a rotary panel 8 draw a curvilinear locus and a curvilinear locus (b) respectively. In the next step, when the rotary panel 8 is normally rotated forward as shown by dashed lines through a garbage intake cylinder device 9, the end of the panel 8 also rotates drawing a curvilinear locus (a). Also in the rising movement of the panel by the second cylinder device 19 directly after the above mentioned movement, the end of the panel 8 draws a circular arc locus. This constitution leads to increase of pushing quantity for preventing the return of garbage to a sump side.
