<p>A process for preparing a signal-carrying magnetic recording medium which comprises piling up a first magnetic recording medium having recorded signals and a second magnetic recording medium having no recorded signal, the scond magnetic recording medium having a magnetic layer comprising hexagonal crystalline ferrite particles and a coercive force of 1/2 or less of that of the first magnetic recording medium at an ordinary temperature, and applying thereto alternating magnetic field at a temperature at which the coercive force of the second magnetic recording medium is lower than that at an ordinary temperature, whereby the signals recorded on the first magnetic recording medium are transcribed to the second magnetic recording medium.</p> |
