PURPOSE:To improve the senses of sight and hearing by detecting a false frequency ratio with a ratio detecting means and generating a ratio detection output signal in response to this detection and transmitting the generated ratio detection output signal. CONSTITUTION:Each raw feature sensor 210 decides whether there are features belonging to its range or not. The range of the raw feature sensor 210 is divided by a certain exponent value, and this exponent value is so selected that approximating calculation of a low integer ratio or other important ratios is facilitated. A ratio detecting network 416 responds to raw feature sensors 210 and compares each pair of results from raw feature sensors 210 with each other and collects comparison values related to a specific ratio to obtain a series of signal outputs, thereby detecting the specific ratio of raw feature data. A ratio detection network output signal bus 426 transmits a signal indicating that the specific ratio exists in false frequencies detected by raw feature sensors 210. Thus, visual and audio input feature recognition is improved.
