The anchoring device consists of a frame 2 comprising two parts: - a hanging part 2a intended to receive a gangway and/or props or guard-rails; - a part 2b in the form of a framework which is open laterally by virtue of a catch 9, intended to clamp the rafter 1. This framework comprises two articulated blocks 5 and 6 which grip respectively onto the upper and lower face of the rafter 1. A complementary elastic member 11 which grips onto the upper face of the rafter 1 maintains a pressure on the said rafter, in collaboration with the block 6 placed under the said rafter. <IMAGE>
