PURPOSE:To prevent a developer from sticking to a fitting member, and also, to prevent a leak of a developing bias current by forming the fitting member for attaching a doctor blade to a developing container, by an insulating and non-magnetic material. CONSTITUTION:A doctor blade 92 is attached and fixed to the lower end of a developing container with a plastic screw 94 at an interval of about 1.8mm from a developing roller 81. The screw 94 of the fitting member is insulated and non-magnetic, therefore, it does not occur that a developer which has leaked from the inside of the developing container sticks to an exposed part of the screw 94, and also, a leak of a developing bias current due to sticking of the developer can be prevented, and at the time of development, a sufficient developing bias is obtained, and by a satisfactory development, deterioration of the picture quality is prevented.
