<p>An electronic potentiometric recording device's collector wire is driven by a motor, whose speed and direction of rotation can be controlled. A further collector wire is mechanically coupled with the 1st. A commutation switch is provided for the fracton collector of the chromatograph. Potentiometers set the programmes for the collection of fractions. They, together, with the 2nd collector wire, are in a bridge with 4 arms. Thus the potentiometers, the electronic recording device and the 2nd collector wire form a programming unit, whose output is connected wire form a programming unit, whose output is connected with the commutation switch.
