PURPOSE:To obtain an equipment of a simple constitution which can access a transmission line at a high speed by allocating a bit in the unit of transmission frame, making access rate variable, and transmitting video data frames in the unit of video packet. CONSTITUTION:A coded output from a moving picture encoder 101 is added with a unique code language and a flag, transmitted to an error correction coding part 102 in the unit of video data packet, and subjected to an abbreviation BCH coding, then transmitted to a multiplexer part 111. Of coded data 105 from a voice encoder 104, the multiframe and the voice data frame are synchronized at a rate of, for instance, 16/8kbps, and transmitted to the part 111. An external digital data 108 is multiplexed at a rate of 8kbpsXm, and transmitted to the part 111. In the part 111, the data are multiplexed to in a transmission frame 115 of a rate 64/128kbps in the unit of subchannel unit of 8kbps that is the one-bit-allocation rate in the frame 115, and the resulting data is transmitted out to the transmission line. |
