PURPOSE:To shorten a sound when a sound message is eliminated by stopping the sound message during the present sending and starting the control of a load in accordance with the received PB signal when the PB signal is received during the sending of the sound message. CONSTITUTION:The receiving of a PB signal sent from a PB telephone set and the sending of a sound to a telephone line are mutually independently executed by a transmitting receiving circuit 7 to the two-wire four-wire conversion of the telephone line. When the PB signal is received during the sending of the sound message by the transmitting receiving circuit 7, the sound message during the present sending is stopped and the control of the load in accordance with the received PB signal is started by an operating shortening means 12. Thus, by the transmitting receiving circuit 7 and the operating shortening means 12, the sound message, etc., to show the load condition and the next operating procedure are heard, a secure operation is executed, and when to hear the sound message, etc., is not necessary, the PB signal is inputted which is a control signal required next during the sending of the sound message, the sound message is stopped and the operation is quickly executed.
