PURPOSE:To realize a construction and a manufacturing process which ensure excellent mass- production properties, by providing projections on a laminated body obtained by adhering through calcination an alternate laminate of green sheets provided with common electrodes and green sheets provided with selecting electrodes, providing heat generating resistor elements on the projections, and dividing the resultant assembly. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of common electrodes 13 are patterned on one side of a first green sheet 21, and a plurality of selecting electrodes 14 opposed respectively to the common electrodes 13 are patterned on a second green sheet 22. The first green sheets and the second green sheets are alternately laminated with each other, and are adhered by calcination. Heat- resistant insulating projections 25 are provided on one side of the calcined laminated body 24 between ends of the common electrodes 13 and ends of the selecting electrodes 14 which ends are exposed on the one side of the body 24. A resistor layer 17 having comb tooth parts 17a extending across the projection 25 is provided, the tip of each of the comb tooth parts 17a is connected to the selecting electrode 14, and a connecting part 17b of the resistor layer 17 is connected to the common electrodes 13. Conductor layers 18, 19 are provided on the resistor layer 17 so that a part of the layer 17 covering the tops of the projections 25 is exposed, a protective layer 20 is provided thereon, and the assembly thus obtained is cut in the direction of an arrow A and in the direction of an arrow B.e. |
