PURPOSE:To apply a resin to a shape having an accurate rectangular cross section, by suitably adjusting the resin supplying quantities to the shorter and longer sides of the rectangular cross section by means of a divided adjusting mechanism. CONSTITUTION:When a molten ultraviolet curing resin is forcibly fed from a resin inlet 44, the resin dividedly flows through a dividing path 48 and gets into resin paths 32 through end openings 48a and 48b and the long holes 38 of sleeves 34. Since the openings 48a and 48b are communicated with the long holes 38 with the same opening cross-sectional areas in a neutral state, almost the same quantities of resin are supplied to a shorter side 27a and longer side 27b. If deformation takes place when the same quantity of resin is supplied to the shorter side 27a and longer side 27b under this condition, a rotary flange 40 is rotated by loosening bolts 30 and the opening cross-sectional areas of the openings 48a and 48b to the long holes 38 are adjusted in reverse proportion. As a result, the resin supplying quantities to the shorter side 27a from the direction X and to the longer side 27b from the direction Y are adjusted to the optimum conditions and the resin is pressure-applied to an almost accurate rectangular form with no deformation.
