PURPOSE:To reduce cost, by collectively displaying a detected state by one segment when a predetermined amount or more of a liquid is detected while stepwise displaying the amount of the liquid by the segment corresponding to a liquid level when the detected amount is a predetermined one or more. CONSTITUTION:A float 8 fluctuater with the height of the liquid level of a washer liquid and stays at the upper end part of a support shaft 7 when the liquid level is higher than a lead switch 2 to continuously hold the ON-state of the lead switch 2. During this time, LED 31 lights to allow a driver to know that the washer liquid is sufficient. If the liquid level is lowered to fall below the lead switch 21, a magnet 9 is turned ON along with lead switches 21, 22 and, therefore, both of LEDs 31, 21 light to allow the driver to know that the washing liquid is reducing to the vicinity of 1/4. By this method, when a detected amount is a predetermined one or less, the amount of the liquid is stepwise displayed by the segment corresponding to a liquid level.
