PURPOSE:To increase the recovery quantity of water by humidifying the exhaust gas from a furnace. CONSTITUTION:The exhaust gas from a furnace 1 is introduced into a humidification tower 2, and the latent heat of vaporization retained by the furnace exhaust gas is provided to the injected water to increase the steam partial pressure in the furnace exhaust gas. The furnace exhaust gas with increased steam partial pressure is introduced into a condenser 11 and cooled by a refrigerant, and the water in the furnace exhaust gas is condensed and recovered. Consequently, the recovery quantity of water can be increased.
