An article comprises a container (1) for a pigment-containing liquid (2) having at least one pigment-deposition element (5). The element, in one embodiment, comprises a twisted metallic filament (3) having bristles (4) embedded therein at uniform axial intervals, such element having a test- tube cleaning brush-like shape. In another embodiment (not shown) the bristles may have a fern leaf-like shape. The presence of the pigment-deposition element prevents build-up of pigment on the inner wall of the container. <IMAGE>
