发明名称 METHOD FOR REMOVING ELECTROLYTE
摘要 PURPOSE:To efficiently remove an electrolyte by exchanging the cations in the electrolyte with hydrogen ions through a partition wall having cation exchange capacity and exchanging the anions in the electrolyte with hydroxyl ions through a partition wall having anion exchange capacity. CONSTITUTION:The partition wall 2 having the cation exchange capacity and the partition wall 1 having the anion exchange capacity are disposed to face each other and a treatment chamber D is formed therebetween. An acid soln. passage A is formed on the outside of the partition wall 2 and an alkaline soln. passage B is provided on the outside of the partition wall 1. An original liquid contg. the electrolyte is introduced into the treatment chamber D. The cations and anions in the original liquid to be treated can be simultaneously substd. with the hydrogen ions and hydroxyl ions according to the above- mentioned method and therefore, the need for intermittent regeneration of resins is eliminated and the fluctuation of pH is obviated as compared to the case in which an action exchange resin to make removal by adsorption is used. This method is thus adequate for an industrial process where continuous operation is required.
