PURPOSE:To take in correct information and improve reliability by performing a reset operation only when predetermined conditions are met in a brake system performing control based on output signals from braking sensors. CONSTITUTION:The brake status is monitored, and if a predetermined delay time elapses after a brake is switched from On to Off or the brake is switched to On after an Off state is continued for a predetermined time or more, a zero adjusting section for a depression force sensor 7, liquid pressure sensors 8a, 8b and an amplifier 9 are driven. The brake status is sampled, and if a sampling signal or a sensor drive periodic signal is output while the Off state is continued for a predetermined time or more, the zero adjusting section is also driven. Accordingly, signals are taken into a CPU 5 with little zero drift, thus correct brake control can be performed.
