PURPOSE:To enhance calibration accuracy and to enable the calibration of a measured value measured by an individual detection apparatus, by allowing a microcomputer to discriminate the kind and use measuring range of the detection apparatus and to perform calibrating the measured value by multiplying an output signal from the detection apparatus by a stored calibration coefficient. CONSTITUTION:A load signal from a load cell 5 is amplified by amplifier 6 and converted to a digital value by an A/D converter 7 and inputted to CPU8 to be subjected to operational processing. The load value Xout operationally processed by CPU8 is recorded on a recorder 13. The kinds of No.1-No.n load cells to be used, the measuring ranges at every load cells and calibration coefficients corresponding to the measuring ranges are stored in the memory 10 of CPU8 and, in calculating the load value Xout, an appropriately necessary calibration coefficient is read. The reading of the necessary calibration coefficient is performed on the basis of the order from a load cell kind indication means 11 and that from a measuring range indication means 12 indicating the measuring range in a load detector 6.
