PURPOSE:To aim at enhancing the durability of a slide bearing, by providing such an arrangement that no oil groove takes a position in a high pressure area in the bearing end face section of an oil film formed between a rotary shaft and the slide bearing. CONSTITUTION:A slide bearing 14 is formed, in the compressing mechanism side end part of a bearing surface R, with a circumferentially extending annular groove 43 to provide an oil groove 44. The oil groove 44 is so formed that it has a start position at -10 deg. in the compressing mechanism side end part of the bearing surface R, and a terminal position at 100 deg. in the opposite side end part, with the direction in which a blade 16 is provided as a reference, and in a rotational coordinate system having the rotational direction of a rotary shaft 4 as a positive direction. Accordingly, it is possible to prevent the load bearing capacity of the bearing from lowering without hindering the oil film pressure in a part where the rotary shaft and the slide bearing come to be nearest to each other, from being created.
