PURPOSE:To obtain the titled stabilizer capable of preparing aq. slurry having high concn. and low viscosity by incorporating the specified copolymer of maleic anhydride and vinyl compd. or salt of its amide, polyoxyalkylene sulfuric acid ester salt and polyether compd. CONSTITUTION:The underwater dispersion stabilizer of inorganic powder is obtained by mixing three components consisting of (A) a copolymer of both maleic anhydride and vinyl compd. shown in formula I (R is H, methyl and R2 is H, 1-30C alkyl, etc.) or salt of its amide and (B) polyoxyalkylene sulfuric acid ester salt shown in formula II (R1 is phenyl, 1-22C alkyl-substituted phenyl, etc., AO is 2-4C oxyalkylene, (n) is 1-500, M is alkali metal, ammonium, etc., (m) is an integer corresponding to valency number.) and (C) polyether compd. which is the alkylene oxide additive of a compd. having >=2 activated hydrogen and contains 5-90wt% oxyethylene group for total molecular weight and has 1,000-0.1mu.
