PURPOSE:To provide the titled compsn. having excellent rigidity and resistance to impact, heat and weather, consisting of a polyamide resin, a polyoctenylene resin, an alpha,beta-unsaturated carboxylic acid (derivative) and a polymn. inhibitor. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. polyamide resin (A) having 8-17 amide groups per 100 carbon atoms, obtd. by condensing an org. dicarboxylic acid with an org. diamine in an equimolar amount is blended with 0.1-100pts.wt. polyoctenylene resin (B) having one double bond per 8 carbon atoms, an MW of 10,000 or above, a trans unit content of 50% or above, a crystallinity of 10% or above, a m.p. of 40 deg.C or above and a glass transition point of -75--30 deg.C, obtd. by polymerizing cyclooctene, 0.005-1mol (per mol of double bond in the component B) of an alpha,beta-unsaturated carboxylic acid (derivative) (C) such as (meth) acrylic acid, etc. and 0.1-10wt% (based on the amount of the component C) polymn. inhibitor (D) (e.g., hydroquinone). |
