PURPOSE:To prevent deterioration of cyan color development by incorporating a specified cyan dye-forming coupler and a specified high boiling organic solvent. CONSTITUTION:The silver halide color photographic sensitive material contains at least one of the cyan dye-forming couplers represented by formula [I] and at lest one of the high-boiling organic solvents each having a boiling point of >=175 deg.C under normal pressure, thus permitting the superior silver halide color photographic sensitive material undeteriorative in cyan color development density and improved in storage stability under high temp. and high humidity to be obtained. In formula [I], R1 is -CONR7R8, -NHCOR7, -NHCOOR9, -NHSO2 R9, -NHCONR7R8, or -NHSO2NR7R8; R2 is group substitutable at the naphthalene ring; l is an integer of 0-3; R3 is a univalent organic group; and X is H or a group to be released by the coupling reaction with the oxidation product of an aromatic primary amine color developing agent, and in formula [II], each of R4 and R5 may be same as or different from each other, and each is independently an aliphatic or aromatic group, and R6 is a group substitutable at the benzene ring; and m is an integer of 0-4. |
