PURPOSE:To elevate the measuring accuracy with ample cleaning of a reaction cell, by providing an ultrasonic cleaner having an ultrasonic oscillator so shaped to be insertable into the reaction cell in such a manner as to be movable vertically on the reaction cell of a reaction line. CONSTITUTION:For example, numerous trains of cell cassettes 1a are arranged on a reaction line to hold a reaction cell 2, for example, four pieces per row. A unit body containing an oscillation circuit and langevin type vibrator and a group of ultrasonic oscillating units 21 comprising stainless steel bar-shaped oscillating element 23 are arranged at the position below lift arms 13a corresponding to each of the reaction cells 2 on the cell cassette 1a. Then, after the end of a specified measuring work, the reaction line is moved intermittently at a specified pitch. Thereafter, a cam plate 14 is turned to lower lift arm 13 and a cleaning water is injected into the reaction cell 2 from a water injection nozzle of a cleaning water feeder. After the dilution of the reaction liquid, an oscillating unit 21 is operated. This enables through cleaning of even non- water soluble components.
