Formwork gangway end gate intended to close the ends of gangways, in accordance with the regulations in force, consisting of a substantially rectangular frame 4, made up of two horizontal crosspieces 5, 6 and of a vertical upright 7, characterised in that, on the one hand, the ends 5a, 6a of the crosspieces carry fittings 8, 9 in the shape of a U with unequal legs and, on the other hand, these ends are hinged by means of spindles 10, 11 on the end of the rail 1, this construction making it possible to open the end 4 towards the inside of the gangway by lifting the end gate on the abovementioned spindles 10, 11 so as to bring the small legs onto the rail and to bring the large legs to bear against the rail. <IMAGE>
