PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the wait time of a user by performing downloading from a server side at every fixed time. SOLUTION: Of the music distribution system, a client side is equipped with a request music number totalizing means 8 which totalizes request numbers by pieces of music, a request music number storage means 9 which stores the totalized music numbers by the pieces of music by the means 8, a downloading start time setting means 10 which sets the time when request music stored in the request music number storage means 9 begins to be download, a request music selecting means 11 which selects more than a specific number of pieces of request music among the request musics stored in the means 9 except the music stored in a client-side music memory 12 at the downloading time start time set by the downloading start time setting means 10, and a music sending and receiving means 5 which sends music information regarding the request music selected by the selecting means 11 to a server side and receives the music corresponding to the music information from a server side. |
