PURPOSE:To display a multiwindow by extending the window attribute register of an address converting device for converting the address of a virtual memory to be displayed into the address of a physical memory. CONSTITUTION:When the display is started, a window horizontal dot number counting circuit 15 counts X0.0, when the counting is completed, a carry signal 121 is inputted to a horizontal window number counting circuit 14 and the horizontal window number counting circuit 14 adds the counted number by one. Accordingly, an address given to the second memory circuit 16 is added by one and to the window horizontal dot number counting circuit 15 and a counter 17, the data X0.1, and SegX0.1 relating to the next horizontal window are given. A control circuit 19, based on the carry signal 21, produces an attribute data load timing signal 122, and in accordance with this timing, an attribute memory circuit 18 transfers the attribute data of the next window to an address converting circuit. Thereby, a display device for a single window can be easily made the multiwindow. |
