PURPOSE:To facilitate the application of an automatic picking device to a gravity transfer type storage rack, by laying a narrow cantilever type rail frame provided with rollers in parallel to and downstream of a rail frame provided with rollers so that the former frame rail is locked to the frame of the storage rack under the gravitational force thereof. CONSTITUTION:The front end section of a cantilever type rail frame 7 downward disposed between upstream and downstream rack frames 3A, 3B is rotated forward and to insert projections 7a, 7b on the cantilever type rail frame 7 into locking sections 3a, 3b in rack frames 3A, 3B, and the rail frame 7 is pulled forward to be locked. With this arrangement the locking sections 7a, 7b, 3a, 3b are surely locked due to a load by the cantilever type rail frame 7. Further, since the cantilever rail frame is narrow, an automatic picking device is allowed to enter between frames 7.
