发明名称 ALUMINUM ALLOY FOR CYLINDER OF PHOTOENGRAVING ROLL FOR GRAVURE
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain the titled Al alloy for cylinder lighter in weight than the one made of iron and having superior adhesion of copper plating layer by incorporating specific percentage of Mg and Si to Al. CONSTITUTION:The Al alloy consisting of, by weight, 0.2-2.0% Mg, Si in a range of [(Mg)/1.73+0.05]-[(Mg)/1.73+1.5]%, and the balance Al with inevitable impurities and containing, if necessary, 1 or >=2 kinds among 0.05-1.5% Cu, 0.05-1.5% Mn, 0.05-0.50% Fe, 0.05-0.5% Cr and 0.05-0.5% Zr is prepared. When a photoengraving roll for gravure is manufactured by use of the above Al alloy, replacing work is made easy as its weight is about one-third that of the one made of iron and, moreover, excess Si enables improvement of etching characteristic to facilitate surface roughening, so that adhesion of copper plating layer can be improved.
