PURPOSE:To keep a degree of contact pressure with a car body moderately as well as to secure a uniform washing effect even any position of the car body, by altering the rocking load of a top brush being rocked by contact with the car body according to a rocking position of this top brush. CONSTITUTION:Both ends of a top brush 3 are supported by a pair of swing arms 6, and is formed so as to be rockable along the form of car to be washed. These paired swing arms 6 is rockably supported on a body 1. Each rock of these swing arms 6 is carried out by operation of an air cylinder 9. And, this air cylinder 9 is set up so as to alter the rocking load of the top brush according to its piston position. That is to say, contact pressure of the top brush 3 with the car body is altered according to each rocking position these swing arms 6.
