PURPOSE:To enable an ideal suction flow by forming plural number of louvers on the inner sides of fins of a heat exchanger so as to form a sufficiently large angle to the thickness direction of the heat exchanger from the upstream surface side toward the downstream surface side. CONSTITUTION:On the fins 5 of a heat exchanger 4, plural number of louvers 6 are provided diagonally to the thickness direction of the heat exchanger 4. Further, since the slope of the said louvers 6 is inclined downward from the upstream surface side toward the downstream surface side, the flow passing through the heat exchanger 4 also flows in the direction along the slope of louvers 6. In this manner, the flow along the louvers 6 in the lower part of the this manner, the flow along the louvers 6 in the lower part of the heat exchanger 4 comes into an impeller 1 with a circumferential velocity in the reverse direction to the rotating direction of the impeller 1 as shown by the arrows g and h, and accordingly the amount of work by the cascade of blades increases. On the other hand, in the upper part of the heat exchanger 4 flow becomes a smooth stream toward straight to the impeller 1 as shown by the arrow i. Thus, the flow coming into the impeller 1 passing through the heat exchanger 4 can be controlled in an ideal direction, and the performance of a blower can be enhanced.
