<p>A suspension system provides a movement-damping assembly for supporting a disc-reproduction machine, which comprises a plurality of annular damping devices, each one of them having an elastic ring to be secured between a machine and a support, the rings being flattened when they are fastened, in such a manner that the opposed segments of each ring extend substantially straight and parallel in such a manner that a force component applied to the machine in the direction of the straight segments produces a limited rolling movement of a flattened ring, which dampens the movement of the reproduction machine in the direction of the straight segments of the flattened ring, the flattened ring also damping the movement of the machine in the vertical and lateral directions with respect to the direction of the straight segments. According to the present invention, the damping device includes a ring and metal sheets or clips for assembly and securing in order to fasten the ring to the machine or to the support.</p> |
