Utilities substation for the district heating network

A utilities substation for the connection of a secondary-side house installation to a district heating network which forms the primary side of the heating system is proposed. The utilities substation has a plurality of sensors (P11-P13, T11-T22) which are connected via control lines to a central controller (S). The controller (S) contains a microprocessor which controls actuators (S1, S2) as a function of the measured values detected and as a function of stored limiting values or characteristics. The quantity of heat dissipated is calculated in the controller (S) in conjunction with a water meter (W1). The use of electronic sensors and of a central controller (S) enables multiple utilisation of individual sensors, as a result of which the number of measuring points can be substantially reduced by comparison with conventional utilities substations. <IMAGE>
