PURPOSE:To obtain the accurate result of calculation in a short time by considering the temp. rise curve of a block-shaped material under prescribed conditions to be step response and by calculating the estimated temp. of the material in accordance with a relative formula. CONSTITUTION:The temp. rise curve of a block-shaped material under prescribed conditions of temp. in a furnace and efficiency is measured. The curve is considered to be step response, and a relative formula having the temp. in the furnace as input and the temp. of the material as output is established from the least square approximation of the response. The estimated temp. of the material is calculated for every prescribed time mesh in accordance with the relative formula.
