PURPOSE:To make possible high efficiency combustion without increasing dusts in the exhaust gas by providing a mixing section for an atomizing fluid and an atomized fluid at the upstream of the inlet or inlet section of an atomizer passage and providing the mixing section inclined on a cone surface. CONSTITUTION:A fluid 1 to be atomized such as a fuel slurry is pressurized by a pump and then supplied form an atomized fluid tube 6 and sent through one or more than one holes 2 to a mixing chamber 3 and atomized into the furnace from an atomizer passage 4. On the other hand an atomized fluid 7 such as air or inert gas is pressurized by a compressor, etc. and supplied from the inlet, and in the mixing chamber 3 it is mixed by confluence with the fluid 1 to atomize it. The fluid to be atomized is delivered from the atomizer passage 4 in atomized state. An atomizer chip 5 is shaped like a skew bevel gear and the atomizer passage 4 is provided inclined on a cone surface 13. Since, therefore, atomization itself is given rotation, there is a strong recycling zone near the atomization chip, which contributes to improve stability of flame. |
