PURPOSE:To improve the structural stability as well as bonding capacity by means of making the outermost side ribs of laminated plates wider. CONSTITUTION:A heat exchanger 1 is composed of multiple plates 2 fitted with rectangular ribs 3 arrays in a specified direction at equivalent intervals as fins formed into parallel channels while the direction of rib is shifted by 90 deg. per layer. Besides, the plates 2 of Japanese paper etc. made flat plates with heat conductivity and moisture permeability fill the role of partitioning two kinds of fluid to be heat-exchanged while the synthetic resin-made ribs 3 are formed into integral body in rows at specified intervals on one side of plates 2 to reinforce the mechanical strength of plates 2 by themselves. On the other hand, the surface of two ribs at the outermost sides as the conforming surface with plates 2 may be formed wider to improve the bonding and coupling capacities thereof. |
