The aim of the present invention is to vary the colours of a television plugged into a computer via a peripheral TV connector. The aim is also to amplify the sound emitted by the computer, via a five-pin female DIN connector. The peripheral TV modulator is an apparatus having two peripheral TV connectors 1 and 2, a male connector 2 which is plugged into the rear of the television, and a female connector 1 into which a computer is plugged. This modulator makes it possible, via three potentiometers 4,5,6, to vary the intensity of the colours, and it also has a five-pin female DIN 3 into which the sound from the computer is sent (via a lead) so that the latter is amplified by the television. <IMAGE>
