PURPOSE:To provide a titled continuous casting machine which casts efficiently a thin ingot as well by disposing an endless belt consisting of a metallic plate covering an aperture and a refractory block closing the upper stream of a U-channel to the upper part of the U-channel formed of plural endless belts consisting of metallic blocks to form a tundish. CONSTITUTION:The endlss belt 29 consisting of the metallic plate 28 covering the aperture is disposed in the upper part of the U-channel 36 formed of the plural endless belts 23, 25, 27 consisting of the metallic blocks 22, 24, 26. The refractory block 42 closing the upper stream of the channel 26 is disposed to form the tundish 43 continuous with a casting mold 39. A pouring nozzle is eliminated and the extremely thin ingot 47 is efficiently and continuously cast. |
