PURPOSE:To improve the linearity of reaction while enabling a highly sensitive assay, by addition of an anionic surfactant SDS and use of bile acid or the alkaline salt thereof in stead of coliphase and urea. CONSTITUTION:In the nephelometry in which lipase activity is tracked by photometrically measuring the clarification of turbidity in triglyceride-water emulsion, SDS is provided in a reaction system. In other words, first, for example, a solution of trihlyceride is added to a solution in which at least one kind of SDS or a surfactant, namely, preserving agent selected from among bile acid, an alkaline salt, an alkyl sulfate, and an alkyl sulfonate thereof is added to a buffer liquid retaining pH 7-10 such as a tris-buffer liquid to form an emulsion for adjusting a substrate. the substrate liquid thus obtained is kept at 30-40 deg.C for 5-10min, for instance, and then, a sample such as serum or urine is added thereto to measure changes in the absorbance with a photometer for assay. |
