PURPOSE:To secure sales information without stopping sales business by sampling log information concerning an overflowing together with a code to identify sales information each time a memory area storing sales information overflows. CONSTITUTION:At CPU50, an operation control means, a keyboard 10, an input means, an indicator 20 and a receipt/journal printer 30 are connected. Further, at CPU50, ROM60, RAM70, a static RAM40 to store sales information and an external memory means 80 for logging are connected. The external memory means 80 for logging stores log information concerning the overflowing together with a code to identify sales information each time the static RAM40 storing sales information overflows. |
