PURPOSE:To obtain a vibration-free building suitable for dwelling by a method in which an artificial rockbed is constructed on hard ground below soft ground and a building is constructed on the artificial rockbed. CONSTITUTION:A latticed caisson 14 is constructed on the surface S of soft ground B, a crane 15 is set on the caisson 1, and the caisson 14 is settled while removing soil by a bucket 16 hung down from the crane 15. The caisson 14 is settled while being connected with other caissons as needed. When the cutting edge 13 is penetrated into the hard ground A, concrete is packed into the pit 17 to construct an artificial rockbed 11. A building 12 is constructed on the rockbed 11. |
