<p>PURPOSE:To provide the titled ink composition composed of a specific amount of water, a water-miscible organic solvent and an oil-soluble dye, free from the tendency to cause the clogging at the tip of the nozzle, exhibiting excellent quick-drying property when recorded on a plain paper, and having excellent storage stability. CONSTITUTION:The objective ink composition is composed of water, a water- miscible organic solvent [preferably having a vapor pressure of <=1mm.Hg (at 25 deg.C and 1atm) and a boiling point of >=150 deg.C, e.g. (di)ethylene glycol, etc.] and a dye wherein the amount of water is 20-60wt% and the dye is essentially an oil-soluble dye (e.g. C.I. Solvent Yellow 1, etc.). The weight ratios of water, organic solvent and dye in the composition are preferably (20-60):(20-40):(1-7).</p> |
